Sintac, the benchmark in plastics recycling and circular economy projects at Ecofira 2022

SINTAC, the only recycled plastics company at the 19th edition of the International Trade Fair for Environmental Solutions and Ecological Transition

Once again this year, the SINTAC team was present with a 128 m² stand at the International Trade Fair for Environmental Solutions and Ecological Transition. The leading company in 100% recycled and recyclable plastics, SINTAC, was the only plastic recycling company present at ECOFIRA. This year, the event, which took place at the Valencia Trade Fair, brought together the most relevant companies in the environmental sector and various public bodies to present their latest advances in environmental management.

With 30 years of experience and presence in the 5 continents, the Valencian company SINTAC offers a wide range of recycled products that contribute directly to the protection of the environment and provide added value to its customers.
In line with its commitment to Sustainability, it provides environmental consultancy services and development of Circular Economy projects, and has its own green marketing agency, specialised in environmental communication and corporate social responsibility campaigns.

Since its beginnings, SINTAC has stood out for its deep commitment to the environment and is one of the leading companies in the plastic recycling sector that has signed and assumed the commitments of the Circular Plastics Alliance of the European Commission and the Spanish Pact for a Circular Economy. Therefore, its attendance at the EcoFira, which as its name suggests, was more than necessary.

During the inauguration of ECOFIRA, SINTAC’s CEO, Vicente Olmos, accompanied Mireia Mollà, Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development, Climate Emergency and Ecological Transition, Joan Piquer Director General of Environmental Quality and Education, José Pascual Marti Garcia President of the Castellón Provincial Council, Carlos Mazón President of the Alicante Provincial Council and Jorge Tejedo, President of ECOFIRA, on their arrival.

The SINTAC stand, one of the focal points of the Fair, was visited by customers, public administrations and large companies interested in finding out about the new products presented by SINTAC at ECOFIRA. Of particular note were the visits of Sebastià Sansó, Director General of Waste and Environmental Education of the Department of the Environment and Territory of the Generalitat de Baleares, as well as the visit of the President of AVEP, Amaya Fernández de Uzquiano.

Also represented at the SINTAC stand was the Extended Collective Producer Responsibility Systems (EPRS) company, RIGK. RIGK currently coordinates 7 SCRAPs in Germany, two of which are for industrial, hazardous and non-hazardous packaging.
RIGK and Sintac are jointly helping Spanish companies exporting to Germany to comply with the new German law, in force since January 2022. SINTAC acts as RIGK’s Agent in Spain for various projects.
The general manager of RIGK in Germany, Jan Bauer, visited the Sintac stand and held meetings with the RIGK Agency team in Spain.
