SINTAC receives recognition from AVEP for its commitment to sustainability and the circular economy

AVEP, the Valencian Association of Plastics Entrepreneurs, and AIMPLAS, the Plastics Technological Institute, held yesterday, October 25, 2023, their XXI Annual Meeting of the Plastics Sector in which they recognized the contribution of this industry to society and the economy through their companies. The event brought together more than 200 attendees from the plastics industry and had the participation of the regional secretary of Industry, Felipe Javier Carrasco, and the general director of Quality and Environmental Education, Jorge Blanco.

At the beginning of the event, the president of Avep, Amaya Fernández, took the floor and made a speech in which she highlighted the impact that regulatory developments such as the Royal Decree on Packaging and Packaging Waste, the tax on non-reusable plastic containers, the Law on Waste and Contaminated Soils or the EPR-Systems (Extended Producer Responsibility Systems).

During the event, AVEP presented recognitions related to sustainability and business excellence, and one of the winners was SINTAC. The CEO of SINTAC, Vicente Olmos, was in charge of collecting this distinction and dedicated a few words to the recycled plastic industry.
