SINTAC participates in the round table on plastic chemical recycling at ECOFIRA

The second day of ECOFIRA has been a complete success, since the fair has succeeded in gathering a high number of visitors, which has made SINTAC’s stand to reach full capacity along the whole day, receiving many visits from customers and other interested parties.

During the morning, several conferences and round tables have been held on subjects regarding ecological solutions and recycling. Vicente Olmos, CEO of Sintac, has participated in the round table on plastic chemical recycling alongside Jorge Blanco (General Director of Quality and Environmental Education of the Regional Ministry of Environment, Water, Infrastructure and Territory), Eva Giner (Director of Innovation at SPB) and Mario Araya (CEO of Blueplasma Power). Mr Olmos, has advocated the need to maintain both mechanical plastic recycling and chemical recycling, as both are complementary.

In addition, Teresa Martínez presented the AENOR circular economy certificate to the company RECIPUR ECO for its project called RECYPUR CIRCULAR 360, which consists of the implementation of a closed-loop circuit for the recovery and recycling of CFU from which RECIPUR produces r-PUR foam cores that are used in the manufacture of new mattresses. As it is a circular project, it has counted with the collaboration of other entities and companies such as EMTRE and DELAX. The event was attended by the Director General of Environmental Quality of the Valencian Community.
