SINTAC attends the II International Seminar on Plastics Recycling PLASREC

Today our team attended PLASREC, the II International Seminar on Plastics Recycling, organized by AIMPLAS in Valencia.

The day was organized into the three blocks of circular economy and recycled plastics, improvements and innovation in the collection and sorting of waste, and mechanical recycling (innovation and trends). The event included presentations by personalities from the world of sustainability such as Laure Baillargeon (Circular Plastics Alliance of the European Commission), Óscar Hernández (ANARPLA), and Irene Mora (Plastics Europe).

Some of the most discussed topics during the day were the transformation of flexible packaging to accelerate a circular ecosystem towards climate neutrality, as well as digitization and traceability control in plastics recycling, and the challenges and strategies of the European Plastics Industry.
