The National Plastics Recycling Congress brings together leading voices from the sector

Yesterday, we had the privilege of participating in the National Plastic Recycling Congress held in Madrid, a key event shaping the present and future of the circular economy in Spain, organized by ANARPLA.

The day brought together leading voices from the sector to address critical topics such as the use of recycled plastics in food contact applications, traceability, ecodesign, and the opportunities arising from evolving sustainability legislation.

The event was hosted by journalist and TV presenter Esther Vaquero and featured notable institutional contributions, including:

  • Marta Gómez Palenque, Director General for Environmental Quality and Assessment at MITECO
  • Rafael García González, Deputy Minister for Environment, Agriculture and Interior of the Comunidad de Madrid
  • Antonino Furfari, Managing Director of Plastics Recyclers Europe
  • Augusto Bruno, Technical Manager at Plastics Recyclers Europe

At SINTAC Recycling, we reaffirm our commitment to building a more sustainable, innovative, and collaborative industry, where recycling is not just an option, but a shared responsibility.

We extend our sincere appreciation to ANARPLA for organizing such an impactful event, to all participants for their valuable insights, and to our colleagues for representing us.
