SINTAC steps up its commitment to those affected by the Dana disaster

SINTAC Recycling is stepping up its commitment to those affected by the DANA disaster and is coordinating the donations of cleaning and hygiene materials and basic foodstuffs received from all over Europe.

The initiative, which was launched at the beginning of the disaster, aims to facilitate and speed up the effective delivery of donations by our international partners, including private companies, city councils, associations and universities, to the various drop-off points in Valencia, according to the daily needs of each of them. To this end, SINTAC’s logistics team coordinates the deliveries of relief supplies arriving at our logistics center and their distribution to those in need with the help of military convoys of the Spanish Army and external partners such as TECHNICAL LOGISTIC TRANSPORT S.L. and Pérez Rangel S.L., who have made their fleets of vehicles and personnel available to us.

So far, SINTAC has distributed more than 250,000 liters of bleach, 180,000 plastic containers for the distribution of hot food and 130,000 liters of detergent, as well as many other cleaning, hygiene and food products to the donation collection points in Valencia.

In addition, the company’s initiative was supported by Condaplast S.A., Aktivapluss AS, FIMIC SRL, Laboratorios Forenqui and SPB | THE SPB GLOBAL CORPORATION, who donated more than 42 pallets of recycled black garbage bags, ammonia gel, dishwashing liquid, ammonia floor cleaner, personal hygiene products, laundry detergent, bleach and hydroalcoholic gel.

Furthermore, we were able to distribute brand new supplies to dozens of families in collaboration with TINYCOTTONS, who donated a pallet of diapers and baby food as well as 100 boxes of unworn children’s clothing.

In terms of donations, SINTAC Recycling itself has donated 60 pallets of bleach containing 9,600 units, 1 pallet of alcohol 96, 2 pallets of disinfectant with bleach and 100,268 units of hydroalcoholic gel.

We will coordinate the donations for as long as necessary and ask companies wishing to donate relief supplies to contact us.
