SINTAC Receives the 2024 Climate Protection Certificate from RIGK and the Fraunhofer Institute

We are honored to receive the 2024 Climate Protection Certificate, issued by RIGK GmbH in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute for Environmental, Safety, and Energy Technology (Fraunhofer UMSICHT). This certificate quantifies the significant CO₂ emission reductions achieved through our active participation in RIGK’s Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems, which are fully operational in Germany for the collection and recycling of used packaging materials.

By complying with these EPR frameworks, we ensure that our recycling processes effectively contribute to a circular economy and the sustainable management of resources. The certificate clearly illustrates the volume of greenhouse gases avoided: 2,521 kg of CO₂ saved in absolute terms—equivalent to the annual CO₂ capture of 182 trees in Europe—highlighting the measurable environmental impact of our operations.

Through participation in EPR systems, SINTAC demonstrates its commitment to responsible product lifecycle management, driving climate protection initiatives with scientifically verified results.
