Last 4th and 5th of November SINTAC was at PRS Europe 2021 in Amsterdam, the most important trade fair for the recycling industry in Europe.

The Plastics Recycling Show Europe PRS is a trade fair and conference entirely dedicated to plastics recycling. Taking place in a strategic location the event aims to raise awareness of recycling among visitors in Europe. The event is based on the new European framework directive on waste treatment.

A visit to the fair offers the opportunity to meet real industry experts as well as representatives of local authorities to get new information on this important topic and to learn about the latest products, equipment and services related to waste management and recycling. The conference delves into selected aspects and is oriented towards the future.

SINTAC’s stand was one of the busiest and also with the great visit of an authority who accompanied us, Ton Emans president of Plastics Recyclers Europe (PRE).

The fair has shown that profitability and sustainability are not necessarily mutually exclusive; quite the contrary. Because product quality and processing efficiency are also increasing along with the advance of automation. Efficient use of resources also means reducing energy consumption and thus also costs.

Plastics Recycling Show Europe 2021 has been a great experience for us, it has been a pleasure to be part of this edition. The good atmosphere, the interesting services and products, and the great work of the team made the SINTAC stand one of the most visited.

For SINTAC, 2021 has been a year full of good news, growth and participation in the International Recycling Fair PRSE in Amsterdam, the “finishing touch” to a very positive and intense year with the presence in 8 Fairs, both national, Equiplast among them, and international, Birmingham, Essen and Lyon, among others. Vicente Olmos, CEO of SINTAC highlights “Sintac has closed important collaboration agreements at PRSE 2021, which represent future proposals in our international expansion. We hope to continue contributing to the high recycling rates of plastics in our country (43%) and, above all, to the Circularity, which already reaches 20%”.
