PLASREC 2025, International Seminar on Plastics Recycling
This week, the Sintac Recycling team participated in PLASREC 2025, the leading International Seminar on Plastics Recycling organized by AIMPLAS in Valencia. The event brought together industry experts, researchers, and policymakers to discuss the latest advances in plastics recycling and strategies to promote a circular economy.

Key sessions covered:
- Advances in mechanical and chemical recycling technologies, including advanced sorting and depolymerization processes.
- Circularity strategies across the plastics value chain, with a focus on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes and regulatory compliance.
- Emerging trends in AI-assisted sorting, process optimization, and material traceability.
- Collaborative approaches to achieving European recycling targets and sector-wide sustainability objectives.
Notable speakers included Óscar Hernández Basanta (ANARPLA), Ettore Musacchi (ETRA), and Ángela Osma Martín (ANAIP), who provided high-level insights on the technical, regulatory, and operational aspects shaping the future of the sector.

Participation in PLASREC 2025 reinforces Sintac Recycling’s commitment to advancing the plastics recycling sector and producing recycled polymers that contribute to circularity and sustainable solutions across the industry.
