GCR opens the most advanced plastic recycling facility in Europe

As a key partner of GCR Group, SINTAC Recycling is please to acknowledge the opening of GCR’s new state-of-the-art recycling plant in Castellet i la Gornal—one of the most advanced plastic recycling facilities in Europe. This marks a significant milestone for the entire group and, in particular, for us at SINTAC, a company committed to the recycling and sustainable management of plastics value chain.

With an annual capacity of over 100,000 tons of post-consumer recycled polyolefins and 30,000 tons of pre-consumer recycled polyolefins, this new facility provides high-quality recycling solutions across a broad range of industries.

The plant is equipped with cutting-edge technologies, including EREMA processing lines, advanced TOMRA optical sorting, and one of the largest hot washing capacities in Europe.
