Discover the New Strategy for the Spanish Plastics Industry

Yesterday, the plastics industry in Spain reached a milestone, with the presentation of the First “Spanish Plastics Industry Strategy” by EsPlásticos, supported by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism and with the participation of representatives of the entire value chain, including SINTAC Recycling. This document is a turning point for the sector, as it outlines a clear path towards a more competitive, sustainable and innovative sector.

With a significant contribution to national GDP (2.1%) and direct employment of more than 97,000 people, the plastics industry is consolidating its position as a driver of innovation and industrial development.

At SINTAC, we are fully aligned with this strategy and its roadmap, supporting its implementation to drive industrial transformation and promote the use of recycled plastics, objectives that we have been continuously and strategically addressing in our work towards sustainability and circular economy.
