Circular economy drives innovation and competitiveness in the Valencian Community

Institutions and businesses gathered in Valencia to discuss challenges and opportunities for more sustainable and efficient models.

On May 20, SINTAC Recycling participated in the “Circular Economy in the Valencian Community” event held in Valencia and organized by the Sustainability Excellence Club together with the Valencian Regional Government.

The event brought together institutional representatives, major waste management operators, SMEs and leading companies to discuss the strategic role of the circular economy as a driver of competitiveness, resilience and innovation.

The conference was sponsored by leading organizations including FCC and Saint-Gobain and featured institutional participation from Vicente Martínez Mus, Juan Alfaro, Sabina Goretti Galindo, Jorge Blanco Coll and Raúl Mérida, alongside industry experts and professionals from the business and waste management sectors.

Key topics addressed throughout the event included material recovery and valorization, innovation in waste management processes, public-private collaboration and the transition toward more efficient and sustainable operating models.
